Modified polytetrafluoroethylene

N-PTFE, made from PTFE with less than 1% additives, was born. N-PTFE belongs to the category of modified PTFE. In addition to all the advantages of PTFE, it has smaller deformation and permeability under high temperature and pressure, better recovery under heavy pressure at high temperature, and high surface finish. In the early days, the modification of PTFE mainly used filling modification to mix polytetrafluoroethylene matrix material with fillers, forming PTFE composite materials, which can compensate for the defects of PTFE itself while improving certain specific properties. In the late 20th century, the widespread application of PTFE further promoted the development of polytetrafluoroethylene modification technology, and many new technologies were developed and applied. It was from then on that PTFE began to use surface modification to produce N-PTFE.
