It has good wear resistance and chemical corrosion resistance, so it is often used in components such as wear-resistant parts and seals for automotive taillights. The high strength and rigidity of polyamide make the tail light components more durable and reliable.
4. Polyphenylene sulfide (PBT): Polyphenylene sulfide is a high-performance thermoplastic with excellent electrical and insulation properties. Its temperature resistance and corrosion resistance also make it one of the commonly used materials for automotive taillight casings.
In summary, there are many types of modified plastics used in automotive taillight components, and different plastic materials have different characteristics and applicability.
