Characteristics and advantages of PET plastic
Good mechanical properties: flexural strength 200MPa, elastic modulus above 4000MPa, creep and fatigue resistance is also very good, high surface hardness, mechanical properties are similar to thermosetting plastics.
Good heat resistance: thermoplastic general engineering plastics have the highest heat deflection temperature and long-term use temperature. Cost-effective: Because ethylene glycol used in PET production is almost half as cheap as butylene glycol used in PBT production, PET resin and reinforced PET are the lowest among engineering plastics and are cost-effective.
