　　Modified POM is a polyoxymethylene material that has been enhanced through reinforcement, toughening, and other processing techniques. It exhibits glass-fiber reinforcement, medium viscosity, exceptionally high rigidity, and superior strength, classifying it as an reinforced-grade engineering plastic. This material is produced via cationic catalytic polymerization of formaldehyde, followed by acetic anhydride end-capping to improve thermal stability; during manufacturing, curing agents and antioxidants are added as processing aids.
