Detailed information
LCP plastic raw material (Liquid Crystal Polymer) is a novel polymer that exhibits liquid-crystalline behavior in the molten state. It is classified into two types: thermotropic (where temperature changes induce the liquid-crystalline phase) and lyotropic (where solvent action gives rise to the liquid-crystalline phase). This material boasts high strength, high rigidity, excellent heat resistance (300–425°C), a low coefficient of linear thermal expansion, UL94 V‑0 flame retardancy, and outstanding dimensional stability. With a density of 1.35–1.45 g/cm³, it can achieve superior mechanical properties without the need for fiber reinforcement.
