　　Polyurethane (PU), formally known as polyurethane, is a high‑performance polymer material produced via the polycondensation of polyols and polyisocyanates, exhibiting excellent mechanical properties and exceptional processability. Its synthesis can be traced back to 1937, when Professor Byaer first prepared a linear, chain‑like polyurethane resin using 1,6‑hexanediisocyanate and 1,4‑butanediol as raw materials.
